City Injection
A proposal to inject a mass into one of Reykjavík´s unused spaces. Edges are carved to fit into its surroundings, then opened up to the sun to inject life.
A centre for senior citizens to pass on their knowledge to younger people in the city. A café and a restaurant is connected to the core of the building. A path flows through the middle of the building linking the surrounding streets and allowing access to the gallery. Five apartments are situated on the two floors above the centre, each of them with access to a balcony overlooking the gallery.
